Our Comunidad Araucaria | October 2023

This month our Comunidad Araucaria, a community of Ministers and Secretaries of Education that promotes educational transformation in Latin America, gathered at Mendoza, Argentina, for a meeting of technical specialisation. In collaboration with the General Directorate of Schools of Mendoza, we delved deep into the progress of a literacy policy, enriching the insights and knowledge on effective education policies. The aim of this meeting was to establish a platform for dialogue and exchange surrounding evidence-based literacy policy development, reading assessment, the use of its results to enhance pedagogical practices, and the implications of evidence management in the context of learning recovery.
